Narendra Modi thanks 6 cr Gujaratis and the Almighty
Gandhinagar, Dec 20: Narendra Modi has expressed his gratitude to the people of Gujarat for voting the BJP to power once again. Today, he took to Twitter shortly after 5 pm and said, "I would like to thank the 6 crore people of Gujarat & the Almighty for giving us an opportunity to serve the people in the years to come."
The second tweet was more or less on the same lines. "I thank all those who voted for us & promise those who have not voted for us that we will work harder to get your vote next time!" At 5.15 p.m, Modi tweeted, "Gujarat has written a new chapter with a new language in the annals of Indian politics - one that rewards unity, harmony &Vikas!"
Two minutes later, he averred, "This is not just a victory of Guj, but also a message to everyone that development & good governance triumph over divide & rule politics."

"It's a victory of Gujarat's model of Sarvasparshi (all pervasive), Sarvasamaveshak (inclusive) & Sarvangi (holistic) Vikas!" and "Gujarat has won! This is a victory of People, Party and Performance. Sharing thoughts on my blog on this historic win" were the next two tweets.
As promised, Narendra Modi's blog contained his thoughts on the resounding victory for his party in the Assembly Elections. The BJP won 116 of the 182 seats in the state while main rival Congress had to remain content with 60 seats.
The three-time chief minister who is set for a fourth term pointed out that "over the last decade, Gujarat has witnessed the rise of a neo-middle class. The improvement in their lives is a result of their hardwork."
About the development in the state, Modi noted, "Gujarat has revolutionised agriculture and is ushering in India's second green revolution, Gujarat made it attractive for industries to put their money in the state so that employment can be created and economic activity can be generated."
