With 86% Surendranagar witnesses highest voting in Guj polls

A total of 87 seats went to polls in the first phase. The first phase was crucial for both ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Opposition Congress. There were around 1.81 crore voters listed with the Election Commission (EC). Around 95.7 lakh were male and 86.02 lakh were female voters.
