Rahul calls 'Gujarat Shining' theory a marketing gimmick
"There is no water, no employment but marketing people say Gujarat is shining," said Rahul.
Without directly referring the name of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul said Gujarat was not run by one person. "It is run by aam admi," added Rahul.The Congress leader said in Jamnagar that Mahatma Gandhi was his political guru.
"Gujarat is an important state in the country," said Rahul Gandhi.
He said: "Telecom revolution is the work of Rajiv Gandhi and Sam Pitroda, who belongs to Gujarat".
Gujarat Assembly Elections 2012 will take place in two phases: First phase is slated on Dec 13 and second phase on Dec 17. The counting will take place on Dec 20, 2012. Gujarat has 182 assembly constituencies.
Earlier Chairperson of UPA Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had campaigned in the state. Earlier Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi had ridiculed Rahul for not entering poll campaign in the state.
