School cleaner tries to sexually assault child in Bangalore

Bangalore, Dec 4: In a shocking incident in the tech city, a LKG student was

vehicle cleaner on Monday evening.

The student of St Sophia School in Nagarbhavi 2nd stage here was playing in the field. The cleaner Sabanna took her behind the building and tried to rape her.

A medical examination conducted on Tuesday morning (Dec 4) has confirmed the alleged sexual assault of the child and the police are looking for the accused, who is absconding.

Alarmed by the incident, the parents and other concerned citizens held a demonstration in front of the school demanding action.

The school authorities have promised cooperation in the police investigation. Since the child is still in trauma due to the horrific incident, her statement is yet to be recorded.
