Top BJP leaders to campaign in Gujarat this weekend
Ahmedabad, Nov 30: Top BJP leaders, including LK Advani, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, are set to arrive in Gujarat over this weekend to campaign for their party candidates in various constituencies, said an official source on Thursday.
Other leaders like party leader in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley, party president Nitin Gadkari, former party presidents Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu, former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parikkar, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda.

It was also learnt that party vice-president Kalraj Mishra and general secretaries like VK Goyal, Ravishankar Prasad, Dharmendra Pradhan, Kiran Maheshwari and Ananth Kumar will also be present in the state to campaign for the party. Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, BJP Mahila Morcha president Smriti Irani, Gujarat in-charge Balbir Punj, national spokespersons Prakash Javadekar, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Om Prakash Dhankar and others will also be present for poll duty.
