Betrayed Kingfisher pilots to take revenge on Vijay Mallya?

Vijay Mallya
Mumbai, Nov 30: Vijay Mallya, who once was known as "King of Good Times", may face real trouble in the near future. Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) employees have threatened to approach Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) if their due salaries are not paid by Friday, Nov 30.

The CEO of the grounded airline Sanjay Aggarwal along with Mallya had vowed to pay their salaries before Diwali. However, even after festival of lights, employees of the airline are left in dark as management has failed to pay their salaries.

The airline has been grounded since Oct 1, 2012 after its engineers and pilots went on strike demanding their long-pending wages.

According to the settlement between the management and employees of Kingfisher, employees were expected to receive Apr salaries by Oct 31 and May salary by Nov 12.

The management also had promised to pay salaries for the months of June-September when the company is recapitalised. The airline officials had also said that the company will pay salaries a month late from October.
