Rinu back on Facebook, refuses to bow before Sena threats
Mumbai, Nov 28: The Shiv Sena cadres are still angry over Facebook comment posted and "liked" by two girls, respectively, from Palghar.
Shaheen Dhada had posted a comment on Facebook questioning Mumbai's shutdown on Bal Thackeray's funeral and her friend Rinu Shrinivasan had liked it. Hence, the duo were arrested by cops and later released on bail.

Fearing further backlash, both girls had deleted their Facebook accounts. However, now Rinu is back on Facebook.
Rinu's Facebook status update reads, "I am too tired but determined to fight. I am back on the Facebook and I have posted my latest photo clicked in Delhi on Saturday. All these days I introspected whether I did anything wrong by clicking the 'like' button and realised that I don't regret what I did."
Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena has called for a complete shutdown in Palghar in Thane district, near Mumbai, to protest against the suspension of two senior police officers who had arrested Rinu and Shaheen for a Facebook post.
Thane rural SP Ravindra Sengaonkar and senior police inspector in Palghar, Shreekant Pingle, were suspended and a departmental enquiry has been ordered against them for applying wrong charges against the two girls while Additional SP Sangram Nishandar was "warned in writing and reprimanded" for dereliction of duty.
"People like Thackeray are born and die daily and one should not observe a bandh for that," Dhada had reportedly written on her Facebook wall. Dhada's friend Rinu "liked" her comment and landed in the legal trouble.
The duo were reportedly booked under Section 295(a) of the IPC (for hurting religious sentiments) and Section 64(a) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. They were later granted bail on surety of Rs 15,000 each. Shaheen, it was said, had withdrawn her comment and apologised before the vandalism took place.
Now, it has to be seen when Shaheen will re-join Facebook. In an interview on a news channel, Shaheen had said that she would be back on Facebook soon.
