Guj:Congress MLAs weaken Sonia Gandhi, empower Narendra Modi

Rebel BJP leader Ram Jethmalani on Tuesday asserted that BJP leaders had done such "indirect favours" to Congress which the agents of the latter even could not do for their party. Now, it seems that the statement is appropriate for the rebel Congress MLAs, who, with their latest move, weakened the strength of Sonia Gandhi's party and empowered BJP-led by Narendra Modi.
Congress MLA from Umreth constituency, Lalsinh Vadodia, along with ten other Muslim leaders resigned from the party showing their disappointment with Congress after being denied tickets.
Ratansinh Padhiyar, Congress President at Anand district, confirmed the reports saying, "Till last week, he (Vadodia) was attending all the programmes of the party in the district and was vehemently targeting the BJP. But now he has joined the same party."
"Vadodia's shift would not affect poll prospects of the Congress in the district," informed Padhiyar. The latest development in Congress party in the state would definitely leave an impact on the upcoming poll which is scheduled to be held in two phases on Dec 13 and 17.
