Kasab had no last wish, was hanged by officials: Reports
Pune, Nov 21: Although the state officials were yet to give details about the final moments before the 26/11 terror attacks convict Ajmal Kasab was hanged to death at Yerwada jail in Pune around 7.30 am, reports said he had no last wish or will before he being hanged.

Sources said that jail manual was duly followed before executing the Pakistani terrorist after his mercy plea was rejected by President of India Pranab Mukherjee. The Supreme Court of India had sentenced the only surviving terrorist of the dreadful 2008 Mumbai attacks in August.
It was also learnt that Kasab was given all information before he was executed.
One report said that the terrorist was hanged by officials from Yerwada Central Jail for there was no hangman. Sources in jail said the last hangman in the jail had retired some years ago and the position had remained vacant for some time now. Jail authorities also added that there was no law that only hangmen could execute a death sentence. Doctors pronounced him dead after he was duly hanged.
Yerwada jail witnessed the hanging of a convict after 14 years.
