Digvijay, who always makes headlines with his shocking statements, irked the "drama queen" of the entertainment world by comparing her with social activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal.

The Congress leader earlier on Sunday, Nov 11 tweeted, "Arvind Kejriwal is like Rakhi Sawant. They both try and expose but with no substance. Apologies to Rakhi Sawant I am an old fan of hers !"

Digvijay's comment comes after Kejriwal's recent exposes involving Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and his alleged irregularities in DLF deals to the latest one targeting richest industrialists such as Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani and many others.

However, Rakhi did not take Digvijay's comment lightly and submitted a letter to Mumbai police commissioner seeking legal action against the senior Congress leader.

Rakhi earlier on Monday was quoted as saying, "Considering him a smart and intelligent person, I was a big fan of him, but today he attacked me. He used my shoulder to fire on Kejriwal. He shouldn't compare me with Kejriwal Bhai."

Mumbai police sources earlier had informed that Rakhi may ask Rs 50 crore as compensation from Digvijay for maligning her "noble character".
