Bangalore: Major fire at a paint factory causes panic

Bangalore, Nov 8: A major

at a paint factory in Sinasandra area on the Hosur Main Road in Bangalore on Thursday, Nov 8 caused panic across the city. Sources say that the fire is on for almost three hours. Around 24 fire tenders are working to douse the fire, said an official of fire department, engaged in rescue and rehabilitation process.

The fire is said to have occurred in Berger paints godown in the IT City. People from the nearby areas have been evacuated to safer places, informed an official. The area is said to be congested and authorities fear that fire might spread further to nearby areas.

However, no casualties reported till now.
