Student of Osmania Univ commits suicide for Telangana cause

The suicide note supposedly written by the student stated that he was ending his life for Telangana. "The note said despite serious agitations, the Government was not willing to give separate Telangana State," said a police official.
Police informed that the student, B Santosh, is studying in Saraswati degree college in Tukkuguda on the city outskirts.
Hundreds of students gathered near the body and prevented the police from shifting the body to mortuary. Tension escalated with more students assembling there and raising pro-Telangana slogans.
"We're trying to convince the students about the need for performing autopsy and shift the body. The situation is tense but under control," the police said.
Osmania University is the hub of Telangana movement.
