Top BJP leaders unhappy with Gadkari: Ram Jethmalani

Jethmalani on Tuesday, Nov 6 said that many top leaders in BJP were unhappy with Gadkari continuing as party President. The top jurist told that BJP leaders like Jaswant Singh, Yashwant Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha were also opposing Gadkari.
On Monday, legal expert Mahesh Jethmalani resigned from the BJP national executive after Gadkari compared IQ of Swami Vivekananda with that of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
As BJP President Gadkari is facing corruption charges against him, many of his party members are not happy that he is still holding the top post. Earlier, senior BJP leader and advocate Jethmalani had asked Gadkari to quit from the post of BJP President.
Jethmalani said that fresh allegations against Gadkari in the Maharashtra land scam will compromise the BJP's campaign against corruption. The BJP MP said that Gadkari should not be given the second term as the BJP president as there are serious allegations of corruption against him.
With rift in BJP wide open, it seems Gadkari's exit is inevitable.
