Shiv Sena to continue stir against Rahul Gandhi's 'friends'

Mumbai, Nov 5: Just a day after

's speech at

's mega rally at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi,

on Monday, Nov 5 criticised him over his "kachcha (immature)" statements on opposition parties behaviour against Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

Slamming Rahul's comparison of FDI with Kargil war, Shiv Sena spokesperson stated that Sena along with other alliance of NDA will continue their protest against Rahul Gandhi's "friends" such as Walmart.

"Rahul's 'friends' like Walmart were eager to enter Indian markets for their benefit," said Sanjay Raut, adding, "NDA will not allow this to happen and opposition to FDI in retail will continue."

Raut also criticised Rahul's "maturity" to handle politics while claiming, "Rahul is not only bachcha (novice) in politics but also kachcha (immature)."

"If Rahul does not understand the difference between Kargil and FDI in retail, he has no right to be in politics," asserted Raut.

Reiterating the political and social scenario during Kargil war with Pakistan in 1999, Raut stated, "Kargil was a war inflicted on the country by Pakistan. It was the duty of all to sink political differences and be united against enemy aggression. Congress did not do a favour by supporting the then government. Had Congress been in power during that time the NDA would have also supported the government."

Earlier on Sunday, Rahul slammed the opposition parties of the country while equating FDI and Kargil war. The Congress General Secretary said, "We were also in the Opposition. Then the Kargil war happened. We were all together. Congress stands together in the interest of the country whether we are in government or not. They (BJP) oppose without any thought. They are engaged only in opposing without giving a thought to anything."
