Uddhav Thackeray to undergo another angioplasty on Sunday
Following complaints of severe chest pain, the 51-year-old leader had undergone the first angioplasty in the same hospital in Jul 2012.
Multi-vessel blockages were found by the medical team who had suggested that he must undergo two series of medical procedures to relieve his condition.
A Shiv Sena personnel was quoted as saying, "This second angioplasty was suggested to him when he was admitted for the first surgery. It is a scheduled procedure, which has been mapped by the medical team from Lilavati."
After meeting party MPs and MLAs at the Sena Bhawan, Uddhav on Saturday informed that he would undergo surgeries in phases.
