7.7 magnitude earthquake hits Canada, Tsunami alert issued

Tsunami warning also have been issued at British Columbia and Alaska region. The earthquake with 7.7 magnitude on the Richter Scale hit the region at 8:04 local time (0304 GMT Sunday).
US Geological Survey informed that epicentre of the earthquake was located 139 kilometres (86 miles) south of the town of Masset.
However, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre later withdrew tsunami warning. No immediate casualties or damage have been reported yet.
People, who reside at low-lying areas, have been asked to move to higher ground.
