Official press release from Deloitte
The winners were judged by the growth in revenues over the last 3 financial years. Out of the 50 winners in the award function, nine were from internet category.
"We at Oneindia have seen good growth and were mainly recognised for putting all our efforts behind Indian languages. Just recently, we launched our 6th Indian language - Gujarati," said BG Mahesh, Founder & MD of Oneindia.in.
"For the team at Greynium this is a welcome recognition but after looking at the growth of other 49 winners I am convinced we have a lot more to achieve. If others can hit such good revenue numbers we too should. No excuses anymore," added Mahesh.
Speaking at the function, Chief Guest Phaneesh Murthy advised the winning teams that they need to have high aspirations.
"Think very high else you will not achieve impressive goals. Choose partners wisely and carefully," added Murthy.
Other winners in the internet category which had demonstrated phenomenal growth, include Rechargeitnow.com, Cocubes Technologies Pvt Ltd, RedBus, Pay Point, CapitalVia Global Research, IndiaIdeas.com (BillDesk), Wildnet Technologies Pvt Ltd, Matrimony.com Pvt Ltd.
