Haryana govt sets up panel to probe DLF-Vadra land deal

Chandigarh, Oct 20: The Haryana government on Friday set up a three-member committee headed by additional chief secretary Krishna Mohan to probe issues raised by senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka in the Shikohpur land deal signed between Sky Light Hospitality of Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and realty giant DLF.

The government notified that the probe panel will include, besides Mohan, additional chief secretary (irrigation) KK Jalan and financial commissioner principal secretary (excise and taxation) Rajan Gupta. The committee has been asked to submit its report within 30 days. Chief secretary PK Chaudhery said that the panel will also investigate into the cancellation of the land mutation that Khemka ordered on Oct 15.
