Anna Hazare to begin nationwide tour from January 2013

The veteran Gandhian activist, who launched a crusade against corruption with other activists but later disbanded his team, said he will strive towards a nationwide organisation of citizens, activists and workers who also dream about a corruption-free nation starting from the grassroot level.
He said the organisation will not comprise any office-bearer and all its members will work as volunteers. The organisation will work to raise public awareness, he said.
He said his plan for the tour was delayed by his eye surgery. Hazare added that he had been advised by experts to use the social media to communicate with the people. A meeting of the experts was held on Oct 14 where the decision to launch a nationwide movement was taken. He also said that an online facility will be started within a week to enable people to participate in the movement.
Hazare had parted ways with Arvind Kejriwal who has been exposing corruption at the time, saying he was not in favour of forming a political party like Kejriwal.
