Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar become friends?BJP Relieved Now?

JD(U) leader and Bihar CM on Monday, Oct 15 clarified his stand over the controversy that JD(U) may break its tie with BJP. The CM stated that he would continue his alliance with BJP and would contest Lok Sabha election in 2014.
Many raised eyebrows over Bihar CM's decision as questions have raised asking - Has Nitish Kumar compromised with his counterpart in Gujarat, Narendra Modi?
Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi are believed to have experienced a bitter relationship when the former hinted to break up his tie with BJP if the party promotes Modi as prime ministerial candidate for the upcoming general election.
The rift between Nitish Kumar and BJP worsened when BJP leaders in Bihar challenged its ruling ally JD(U) after declaring its decision to contest in all 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state alone.
Bihar BJP chief CP Thakur announced the party's decision unveiling the rifts between the two allies. Mr Thakur on Oct 2 has been quoted as saying, "As a political party, it's imperative to be ready to contest all the 40 seats."
It is believed that Nitish Kumar maintains distance with Narendra Modi in order to woo the Muslims in Bihar. However, the chief minister's recent statement on continuing partnership with BJP compelled many to think that he might have changed his tactics of contesting upcoming elections.
