After Arvind, CAG too nails Khurshid, wife refutes charges

Louise denied the charges of financial bungling in the NGO run by them. She also said that they were ready to face any probe and prove their innocence.
"All the allegations are baseless and false," she said. "I am ready for any scrutiny into this matter. Salman Khurshid will respond on allegations," said Louise Khurshid. "In our own district, where we do politics, will we rob physically impaired people? Will we commit such harakiri?" she added.
Meanwhile, Comptroller and Auditor-General (CAG) has confirmed the allegations of irregularities in the Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust, run by Khurshid and his wife Louise.
According to media reports, CAG has asked the government to recover Rs 71.50 lakh with interest.
Meanwhile, rejecting all the claims, Salman Khurshid's wife Louise Khurshid said that there is no CAG report, these are all lies.
She said that she had confirmed this with the CAG.
On Friday evening, activist-turned politician Arvind Kejriwal and his India Against Corruption supporters were detained by the police after they protested against Khurshid over alleged misuse of funds at the Zakir Hussain Trust that is run by his family.
