Delhi Police arrests 3 IM terror suspects

Terrorist-In-India
New Delhi, Oct 11: The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested three terror suspects, believed to be working for banned terror outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM). Sources said that Delhi Police's Special Cell had arrested them. It is reported that the trio had set up their base in a locality here and were planning terror strikes under the guidance of Yasin Bhatkal, the founder leader of the outfit.

The police found arms, ammunition and also bomb-making equipment from the hideout of the three terror suspects. The arrested persons were being interrogated about the details of their planned operation. The suspected terrorists were allegedly involved in the low-intensity Pune blasts in August this year, which had left one person injured.

The Delhi Police is expected to reveal more details on the episode at a press conference scheduled at 4 pm on Thursday.
