Maharashtra: 18 killed as bus falls off bridge into river

More than 45 people were reported to be on board the bus whose driver lost control over the vehicle near Sangrampur in Buldhana district. The driver and his helper died in the accident that occurred around 11 am.
Bodies of some school children have been recovered from the Purna. Alert locals saved over 20 lives, otherwise the death toll would have been much higher. The injured passengers are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Akola.
