'No intention of toppling UPA govt, will wait and watch'

"I don'’t want to talk about instability in the government. They (Congress) should take care of their alliance partners. We don'’t want to topple the government. We have adopted a 'wait-and-watch' policy and are watching the developments taking place," BJP president Nitin Gadkari said.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here, Gadkari said it was the responsibility of Congress to keep UPA intact. "UPA government has lost its importance. There should be vision, decision-making power and leadership to run the government," the BJP leader said but refused to make any prediction about the possibility of mid-term elections.
"I am not an astrologer to predict about the mid-term polls," he said.
The BJP chief called for efforts by both UPA allies and the Opposition to pressure the government to withdraw hike in the price of diesel and FDI in multi-brand retail. "UPA alliance partners and Opposition should exert pressure on the government for rolling back diesel price and FDI in multi-brand retail," he said.
Gadkari said the Opposition alliance needs everybody'’s support in the movement against fuel price hike and FDI in multi-brand retail.
