Ex Kerala CM's move to fire up Kudankulam protests stalled

Achuthanandan, was however not able to reach the protest site after he was stopped on the way near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. The police stalled his plan to join the protestors in Kudankulam near Kalikavil which is close to the border.
The man heading the protest and PMANE activist SP Udayakumar is still absconding and the Tamil Nadu police have issued a lookout against him. Udayakumar's wife, Meera has meanwhile appeared in a Valliyoor court on behalf of her husband who was summoned by the court.
The Kudankulam protests had taken a new turn after the agitating villagers resorted to Jal Satyagraha demanding that fuel should not be loaded in the plant's reactor.
