Narendra Modi's birthday gift - NDA's PM candidate?

The Gujarat CM is believed to be one of the strongest and promising candidate for the PM post and critics believe that NDA should announce about its decision on PM candidate at the earliest if they indeed want to win the election.
BJP party workers in Bihar caught attention of many after celebrating Modi's birthday in a grand way. A vocal supporter of Modi, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Giriraj Singh celebrated Modi's birthday by cutting a 62-kg cake at the party office under the banner of the Narendra Modi Fans Association (NMFA).
The state party workers along with the minister stated that people wanted to see Modi as Prime Minister. Snubbing Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's relation with Modi, hundreds of large hoardings have been put across the state, especially in Patna, praising Modi and establishing him as the future PM.
Citing the celebration and support for Modi in Bihar, where anti-Modi fervour grips, many started speculating that NDA should announce their decision now. Results of different poll surveys conducted by different channels and groups also show that people want to see Modi as the PM of India.
Our Tamil channel - Oneindia Tamil recently conducted a survey asking its users - Based on political and administrative acumen, who in NDA is the best to become PM - Modi, Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Nitish Kumar or Arun Jaitley?
A total of 12,647 people participated in the survey till Tuesday, Sept 11. The survey results show that Modi left Advani, Sushma and other leaders far behind when it comes to popularity. Despite all controversies and allegations against Modi, it seems that Gujarat CM has gained faith of the aam-aadmi (common man) of this country.
Modi, Advani, Nitish, Sushma and Arun got 9,030 (72%), 1,300 (10.58%), 1,244 (9%), 592 (4.5%) and 481 (3.8%) votes, respectively. [Read: Oneindia users vote for Narendra Modi as NDA's PM candidate]
Well-known writer and socialite Chetan Bhagat had also conducted a survey in his Facebook page and the results showed that Modi got more support than Congress's Rahul Gandhi for the post of PM. [Read: India wants Narendra Modi & not Rahul Gandhi as PM]
Anti-Modi critics say that Modi has his own limitations within Gujarat. Despite such criticism and several allegations against him, NDA should consider the survey results which proved that Modi has gained the faith of many.
