Yemeni protesters storm US embassy over controversial film

Hundreds of demonstrators broke through the main entry of the compound in eastern Sanaa, shouting "We sacrifice ourselves for you, Messenger of God". They smashed windows of security offices outside the embassy also.
Protest also broke out in Egypt and Libya a couple of days ago over a film which had allegedly dishonoured Prophet Mohammad. In Libya, the protest had turned violent and led to the death of the US Ambassador to that country, Chris Stevens.
It was learnt that scuffles also broke out at the US embassy in Cairo where the protesters climed into the embassy and even torn down the US flag.
