TDP President Naidu declares assets

and those of his family members and asked other politicians to follow suit to ensure transparency and high moral standards in public life.

As per the assets declared by him, Naidu has total assets worth Rs 31.97 lakh, while his wife Bhuvaneswari possessed net assets worth Rs 2452.83 lakh and total liabilities to the tune of 1721.99 lakh.

Naidu's son Lokesh has total liabilities of Rs 220.20 lakh and net assets of Rs 662.47 lakh. Lokesh's wife Brahmani has total assets worth Rs 209.91 lakh.

Observing that he had declared assets earlier too, the Leader of Opposition asserted that his political rivals carried out a false propaganda that he owned assets worth Rs 2,000 crore but could not prove it when asked to do so.

The former Chief Minister demanded that leaders of other parties too disclose their wealth to maintain high standards of ethics in public life.
