Man attempts suicide, bullet kills mother

Barabanki (UP), Sep 9: An elderly woman was killed when his son allegedly opened fire to commit

in Safdarganj area, police said today.

Gulliram attempted suicide with a country-made fire-arm over family dispute in Jalalpur village late last night, but the bullet hit his mother Patiraja who died on the spot, they said.

Gulliram sustained pellet injury and was admitted to a hospital, they said.
