Suicide hits back Hyderabad again: Kids die, mom survives

Suicide
Hyderabad, Sept 6: Another suicide case shocked all in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It seems that the city has been cursed as one after the other controversial suicide cases have been grabbing the headlines almost everyday since quite a long time.

This time, two children were found dead and their mother was found unconscious in their residence at Shankarpally in Ranga Reddy district on Sept 3.

According to sources, the mother might have given poison to her children and later she would have consumed as she was depressed after her husband's death.

However, Hyderabad police started an investigation as many people suspected that the woman's in-laws were involved in the case which might not be a suicide case either.

The unconscious woman, who has been identified as Usha Rani, was rushed to a near by hospital. Police questioned Usha in the hospital but she did not give any statement on the issue.

The cops also discovered one suicide letter which says, "We (my children and I) will go to my husband."

Usha's neighbours informed that her husband Kannappa, a kirana store owner died six months back. The couple had two daughters - three-year-old Nandini and six-months old Jyotsna.

Recently, few more suicide incidents rocked the city. First Infosys employee Neelima committed suicide inside the office premise. Months after Neelima's death, another software engineer consumed poison. The two incidents created much controversies as the two family members cried foul over the two cases.
