IndiGo connects Chandigarh to Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad

and Ahmedabad, as part of efforts to expand footprint in the country.

"Effective from Sept 10, we will operate two new daily and direct flights between Chandigarh and Mumbai. Additionally, we will also connect Chandigarh with Goa and Ahmedabad via Mumbai," IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh told reporters here today.

The fare for flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai has been kept at Rs 4,504 and from Mumbai to Chandigarh it is Rs 4,670.

The fare for flight from Chandigarh to Goa and Ahmedabad via Mumbai is Rs 4,977 and Rs 4,714, respectively.

These new services will further consolidate IndiGo's position in the country, with its 373 flights connecting 33 destinations across the nation, he said.

IndiGo has also plans to start operations from Chandigarh to Srinagar and Bangalore. "We are also looking at the connectivity of Chandigarh with Bangalore and Srinagar in the near future," he added.
