Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone's grandma passes away

A close aide of Deepika's father Prakash Padukone, a former badminton player, informed that the 84-year-old was suffering from cardiac problem.

She was admitted to a private hospital in Bangalore on Monday, Aug 27. She stopped responding to the treatments since Tuesday morning.

Manjesh, a close aide of the Padukone family informed that all family members were present in the hospital.

The news surfaced just days after the sad news of AK Hungal's demise. The 95-year-old veteran actor passed away on Saturday.

He was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. He fell down in his bathroom on Aug 13, fracturing his right femur (thigh) bone. Later, when he was to undergo surgery, it was observed that he had several complications from chest problem to breathing.
