Protest march planned demanding justice for Geetika Sharma

Geetika had committed suicide on Aug 5 in her flat and had explicitly mentioned that she was taking this extreme step after facing harassment from Kanda and senior executive Aruna Chaddha of the now defunct MDLR airlines.
On the proposed march, activist Sunita Kataria has been quoted as saying, "We want justice for Geetika Sharma. She was facing terrible harassment from Gopal Kanda, who has been making false statements ever since the case came to light. We want stiff punishment for Kanda." The march will seek an apt punishment for all those accused in the case.
Kataria, also the municipal councillor and district head of Indian National Lok Dal, added, "The candle march would be held by women's organisations, not under any political party's banner. Several NGOs will join the march at Jantar Mantar around 11 am on Thursday."
