Kiran Bedi not keen on Team Anna going political?

New Delhi, Aug 16:

's political plunge has been marred by roadblocks and controversies ever since it was declared. Among the issues that were highlighted was the views of the detractors who were not in agreement with Team Anna getting into electoral politics.

The latest person who has withdrawn from getting into Team Anna's political bandwagon is Kiran Bedi. Earlier, former Karnataka Lokayukta Santosh Hegde had also expressed his reservations on Team Anna's political move. Bedi's back out from the yet to be formed political party by Team Anna is sure to raise quite a few eyebrows.

Rubbishing all rumours and downplaying her decision, Bedi has been quoted as saying, "I had been informing all my group that I shall not go into electoral politics. I have been expressing this all the way. But I shall maintain my support for the movement all the time. This is not new. The group is fully aware."

She had also tweeted earlier on her stand, "I am not a politician. I have joined no political party. I have no intentions to do. I have been doing what I believed in!"

Bedi had grabbed headlines when she shared the dais with yoga guru Baba Ramdev in his protest against the black money menace in the country.
