Twist in suicide case: 'Geetika Sharma underwent abortion'

Chaddha will be produced before a Delhi court on Sunday and sources also informed that police again may ask the court to extend her police custody, so that the investigators can take Chaddha to all those places where Geetika allegedly was taken for abortion.
Police earlier had arrested Chaddha in connection with Geetika's suicide case as she had accused Chaddha along with former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda of compelling her to take the extreme step.
Geetika committed suicide on Aug 5. She left a suicide note saying that Kanda and Chaddha had broken her trust. Geetika's family members claimed that Kanda allegedly had harassed Geetika by calling her. Her family members also stated that both Kanda and Geetika were close to each other, though the former Haryana minister overruled all allegations raised by Geetika's family.
Kanda has been missing since Wednesday when he was summoned to appear before the police for questioning. Despite multiple raids at Kanda's residence and office premises, the cops failed to locate him. However, sources said that Kanda is expected to surrender on Monday, Aug 13.
A Delhi court earlier had rejected Kanda's anticipatory bail plea and police also announced that the former minister will be arrested whenever they trace Kanda's whereabouts. Kanda has been booked in the abatement to suicide case.
Geetika was an ex-employee of MDLR airline owned by Kanda and Chaddha is also an another employee of the defunct airlines.
