Abu Jundal seeks court's permission to record confession

Jundal today apprised a court of his wish to record a lengthy confession about the role he played in planning the attacks along with other LeT terrorists including Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and Jamaat-ud-Dama head Hafiz Saeed.
Incidentally, yesterday evening Jundal was brought face to face with his most famous 'trainee' Ajmal Kasab at the Arthur Road Jail where the latter is lodged in a bomb-proof cell.
In the one-and-half-hour meeting, Kasab confirmed that Jundal was one of his handlers in Pakistan. On his part, Jundal identified Kasab as one of the ten LeT operatives who were selected for the deadly mission in 2008.
Jundal not only taught the group Hindi before they set sail from Karachi, he also gave them directions from the Karachi control room during the three days when Kasab's accomplices held Mumbai to ransom.
