Kejriwal tells court complaint against him should be dismissed
Kejriwal's counsel Rishikesh Kumar told Metropolitan Magistrate Purushottam Pathak that the complaint against him filed by law student Vibhor Anand should be dismissed as a similar complaint against him was dismissed by a Bulandshahr sessions court on Jul 28.
The magistrate told Kejriwal's counsel that he can move an appropriate application if Kejriwal wants to appear in the matter and reserved its order in the matter on Sept 3. Anand had in its complaint sought a direction to the police to register an FIR against Kejriwal for sedition.
Kejriwal had triggered a political storm by saying in a rally at Ghaziabad early this year that Parliament was filled with "murderers, rapists and dacoits".
On Jul 28, Bulandshahr district and sessions court had dismissed the complaint of one Jitendra Sindhu, saying that commenting on the working of MPs does not amount to raging a war against the government.
