Statues of Ambedkar, Dalit leader found damaged in TN

Madurai, Aug 7: Statues of BR

and

leader Immanuel Sekar were found vandalised at some places in the district today, police said.

At Perungudi, the head of the Ambedkar statue was found damaged this morning, while another at Chinnaudaippu and that of Immanuel Sekar were also found vandalised, police said.

Police have been deployed in strength as tension prevailed, sources added.
