Narendra Modi accuses Cong of spreading lies against Gujarat

Showing several instances, Modi also urged Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) high command to take serious and prompt action against Congress.
Modi, while accusing Congress, said, "Opposition Congress is spreading lies against this government and BJP workers need to counter them by explaining the real position to the people of the state."
"For the last 10 years, the Opposition has been spreading lies against this government but they have not succeeded," added Modi.
The CM also asserted that despite all lies, people in the state still have faith in him and his party. "The Congress is living on statements issued in media, but our real strength is faith that the people have put in us by voting us to power again and again," said the CM.
"This election has to be taken as a challenge by every party worker and team BJP will win it with flying colours. This party runs on the power of its workers," claimed Modi.
Modi's statements surfaced during a party meeting in Gandhinagar where all BJP state leaders, workers assembled to form a strategy for the upcoming state Assembly polls which is expected to be held in Nov 2012.
