Home Minister Shinde to visit Pune today

Darjeeling, Aug 3: Union Home Minister

said here that he would visit Pune on Saturday, which was rocked by serial blasts on Aug 1.

"I am going to Pune tomorrow (Saturday)," Shinde told reporters who sought his comment that there were four blasts at Pune after he took over as Union Home Minister.

The blasts had taken place on a day when Shinde was scheduled to visit the city. Shinde was here to attend the swearing-in of the newly-elected members of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration here tomorrow.
