Pune: Local tailor who unknowingly handled bomb injured

Pune, Aug 1: After five minor blasts rocked Pune, the police there have claimed that it was the handiwork of some mischief mongers and have ruled out a terror attack.

The only person injured has been identified as Dayanand Bhaurao Patil, a local tailor. He was the person who spotted the unattended bag that was carrying the bomb. The bomb went off while he was handling it. Both his hands sustained injuries and was immediately shifted to Sasoon Hospital in Pune.

The doctors treating him claimed that there were only minor injuries and was declared that he was out of danger.

NIA and NSG teams from Mumbai and Delhi have rushed to Pune to assess the situation.
