New Delhi, Aug 1: With Team Anna's indefinite fast against corruption entering its seventh day, prominent Team Anna members Arvind Kejriwal and Gopal Rai's health condition seems to have gone from bad to worse.

Anna Hazare too joined the protest on Sunday. The group of doctors who have been kept on stand-by and are constantly monitoring the health of the protestors claimed that the aforementioned duo need to end their fast immediately.

Kejriwal, however, seems to have taken a firm stand. He maintained that they will protest against the government's efforts to force-feed them. The Delhi Police is reported to have written to Team Anna activists reminding them that they had agreed to the fact that they will be moved to hospital if their health was in danger.

Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh has once again courted controversy by saying that the activists need to engage with the activists but not at "gunpoint".

On Kejriwal's deteriorating health, Digvijay said, "Nothing will happen. Look at Irom Sharmila (Sharmila has been fasting for the past 11 years and regularly being force-fed by the government via drip).

Earlier, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office V Narayanasamy had slammed Anna's protest and called it a "drama".

Government sources have squarely ruled out their role in the event of falling health of Team Anna members and that it was the Team's responsibility to make sure its members are fine.
