Anna Hazare supporters protest outside PM's residence

New Delhi, Jul 28: Several supporters of

protested outside 7 Race Course Road, the official residence of the Indian Prime Minister,

, on Saturday, demanding immediate passing of the Jan

, ahead of an all-party meeting.

The protesters gathered in small groups and shouted anti-government slogans. Police immediately came into action and detained 50 people, including women, whom they had taken to a nearby police station. Traffic on the Race Course Road was affected by the protest.
