Team Anna members ended up in a clash with Uttar Pradesh police as they were lathicharged when they tried to stop Congress President's convoy.

Mrs Gandhi was on her two-day visit to her constituency and she laid the foundation stone for widening of the Lucknow-Rae Bareli road and other projects in the state.

According to sources, team Anna members showed protest in front of Mrs Gandhi's convoy and tried to stop her. However, Mrs Gandhi was not present in her car as she had stepped down to meet local people of Rae Bareli.

Meanwhile, other team Anna members continued their indefinite fast at Jantar Mantar demanding to commence an independent investigation by Special Investigation Team (SIT) against 14 union cabinet ministers including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

India Against Corruption (IAC) has already released an exhaustive document stating the various corruption charges against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and Union Telecom and HRD Minister Kapil Sibal.
