Team Anna gearing up to spoil Pranab Mukherjee's day?

New Delhi, Jul 25: The day India will get its 13th President, there will be another revolt brewing in another part of Delhi, when

will embark on an indefinite fast against the corruption charges against various Union Ministers and the demand for a strong Lokpal Bill. The timing of the fast is such that when

swears-in as President, Team Anna is expected to release a slew of evidence on corruption charges against the President-elect.

Targeting the massive graft charges against the Congress party as well as the UPA, Team Anna had called Pranab's election to the post of President as "unfortunate".

In a press conference by prominent Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal, he has been quoted as saying, "It is very unfortunate that with so many corruption charges, he (Mukherjee) has been elected president and I personally feel that all those who have supported and backed him have cheated their nation."

He added, "It would have been better had the investigation against him finished and he found not guilty. Only then he should have been appointed as president and the entire nation would have been proud to have him as president. The Prime Minister is corrupt, now we have a corrupt President as well. We will release proof of corruption against Pranab Mukherjee on Jul 25 during our fast."

Team Anna's indefinite fast will kickstart on Jul 25 at the Jantar Mantar and stated they were ready for a "fight to finish" and will not be content with mere assurances. Unlike earlier, the indefinite fast this time around will be carried out by Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai. Anna Hazare is expected to join them in the fast later.

Giving out subtle hints on a possible political plunge by Team Anna, Kejriwal has been quoted as saying in an interview that he expects a non-Congress, non-BJP people's front to emerge and there is a likely chance that Team Anna will back it.

In this 'fight to the finish', Team Anna has also created a special Facebook page called 'Final War Against Corruption' for the proposed fast at the Jantar Mantar.
