New Delhi, Jul 25: It seems that there are no threats to UPA government as Congress and NCP seems to have resolved the differences between the two parties.

Sharad Pawar on Wednesday, Jul 25 met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and sources reported that they have got consensus resolution.

A new coordination mechanism will be set up, decided the leaders of both parties. The coordinated committee will be headed by Mrs Gandhi and similar committee will be set up in Maharashtra too, informed Parful Patel after their meeting with the PM and Congress President.

After the meeting, Pawar and Patel abandoned their threat to quit the government. Patel, while addressing the media said, "After deliberations, it was decided to set up an effective coordination mechanism very soon to ensure the cohesive functioning of the UPA... and to ensure UPA allies meet once a month to discuss policy and other issues."
