Abu Jundal produced in Mumbai court

Mumbai, Jul 21:

, one of the main conspirators in the 26/11 terror attacks, was produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Esplanade Court here today.

Jundal who has been in the custody of Delhi police ever since his arrest at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Jun 21 was yesterday handed over to the Mumbai ATS. The flight carrying him landed here sometime after midnight.

The Mumbai police will question him about the 2006 Aurangabad arms haul case, the 2010 German Bakery blast and attack on Nashik Academy besides the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

Jundal is an accused in the Aurangabad arms haul case. After the Maharashtra police complete their investigations in these four cases, he will be taken back to Delhi so that the NIA and other agencies can interrogate him.
