Varsity prints textbook showing Pranab as 'President of Ind'

The piece of information was published in the book 'Democracy in India' and is a prescribed book for the first year students of BA (Political Science) for the ongoing academic session. The Gondwana University is a newly-formed varsity.
The University came to the foregone conclusion well ahead even before the first vote has been cast in the Presidential election. The matter was shown in Page number 84 under chapter 4 of the book under the heading 'Union Executive'. The chapter has a chart on the Presidents of India, with Pranab's name featuring as "the 14th President of India".
The book was released a few days back at a gala function attended by the Dean of the Department of Social Sciences of Gondwana University as well as over 40 lecturers of political science belonging to colleges under the varsity.
The authors of the book are Sanjay Gore, Chairman of the Board of Studies of the University and Madhukar Arjunkar, a scholar of political science. The university officials refused to comment on the goof-up.
