Laila case: Police launches search in Igatpuri for bodies

Police have launched the search after accused Parvez Tak told the Jammu and Kashmir Police that Laila Khan and her relatives were murdered and bodies were buried around her farm house in Untdari behind Ghatan Devi Temple in Igatpuri, police said today.
Four kms of area around the farm house was cordoned-off and barricades were put up since this morning in the presence of top police officials and heavy bandobast.
The accused, Parvez Tak and Asif Shaikh, have been brought to Igatpuri and as per their directions digging operations have begun to search for bodies, police said without giving any further details.
Police are also interrogating Laila Khan's car drivers Jony Gilder and Mehboob Shaikh (both from Igatpuri) in connection with the case. Laila was last seen in a movie 'Wafaa' with actor Rajesh Khanna in 2008.
