US dollar ends sharply dearer against rupee

Mumbai, Jul 9: The US dollar ended sharply dearer against the rupee at 55.92/93 per dollar and the Pound sterling also finished higher at 86.63/65 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (Forex) here today.
